Bilboa - Guggenheim Museum 9/17/24 Julian. Airport sightseeing, first night and Guggenheim - Bilboa. Spain

How fun.  I'm enjoying this city.  Different.  Mix of old and new.  Very clear.

Nice mile walk with Julian. Over cool bridges.  My favorite architect, Santiago Calavera created a georgeous bridge near the museum.  I was thrilled to walk over it.  He also worked on the Bilboa Airport terminal.  I love his work.  The mile turned into several.  Had legs cramps at night.  More water and aspirin.

Guggenhein fun. Visited another museum  Basque inspired.  Several famous pieces.

Good food.  Just different.

Guggenheim

Museum of Fine Arts Bilboa.  A free museum featuring  Spanish artists.  Many masters and a very eclectic collection.  Founded in 1914.

Venice, always a treat. 9/9-14/2024

 I'd say better the second time around.  Exhausting schedule but saw the important things I missed before.

Enjoyed DaVinci interactive museum.  Always fun hands on.

Most impressed with Doge's Palace. Truly grand.  Saw so much.  Beautiful, one of a kind.
